Educando Para La Vida and Woman Center
City of Zaragoza, Guatemala
Founded in 2022 as an elementary school, it has since expanded to middle school. It now has 140 students. It is serving primarily Mayan families, many of whom face economic hardship and family separation with 70% of the families without a father figure. Seeing the needs of these mothers, a women vocational training and microbusiness program was started with a weekly attendance of 90 mothers. Since the beginning of the program, some mothers have started their own small business and become financially sufficient.

Golden City Student Center and Chinese School
Chiang Rai, Thailand
Established in the Spring of 2024 in partnership with Golden City Church. O.H.H. fully funds this program. The program provides 2 hours of daily Chinese class and an after-school program for children of all ages. Around 50 students attend the Chinese classes on weekdays. We expect the school to expand as there are over 300 children living in the area. As the need arrives, it has since expanded to become a home for the orphans from Myanmar and children in the nearby villages lacking family support. Indeed, it has become a place of learning and refuge for children.

Zahle School for Syrian Refugees
Lebanon
Established in 2018. Due to the war in Syria, over 1.5 million Syrians have been displaced into Lebanon resulting in many children without a school to attend. Initially, a local church and a mission organization financially supported this school. However, most of the funding ceased in 2023, and subsequently, O.H.H. adopted a large portion of the school's financial needs. There are now 40 students from kindergarten to second grade. This school not only provides the students with education but also emphasizes emotional support, as well as caring for the students' families. In the near future, they plan to increase the number of students and add vocational training classes.

Hui Lin School
Northern Myanmar
Founded in 2023 with 20 students. Due to the ongoing civil war, the students often leave their homes due to safety concerns. Older adolescents are forced to join the army or local militia groups. This results in an unstable schooling situation and poor education. Unfortunately, due to safety, there are times when the school is open one to three days in a week. Despite the various challenges, the local teachers are committed to serving the students to give them hope for a brighter future.
